We employ people with intellectual disability, helping them to hold real jobs in the environmental sector. At the same time, we are focused on improving the resilience of the Australian bushland, enhancing natural areas and restoring our natural habitats.
We aim to lead the way in providing crisis support and suicide prevention services to Australians in need, 24/7. At Lifeline Northern Beaches our primary purpose is to provide quality telephone and in-person support to relieve the distress caused by crisis situations.
🏃♂️ I'm going to have a crack at the Manly Fun Run again this year. It's on Sunday, 3rd June! There's a new 10KM route! Down Manly Corso and up to North Head! It's all for a good cause. Whether you do the Manly Fun Run 2km, 5km or 10km course you will be raising money for charities around Manly. The event is supported by Freshwater Community Bank Branch, Clarke and Humel Manly and Blackmores.
Now in its 10th year; Manly Fun Run, a Manly Rotary Club project, has raised over $2m for local charities. Much of what we do is in teams – fundraising, and project planning to deliver tangible results in the areas of Youth, Community, and International Service support.
Rotary is a worldwide organisation of men and women of all backgrounds and ages who volunteer their efforts to 'making a real difference' in their own communities and beyond, living up to their motto of 'Service Above Self'.
